2012 Museum Newsletter

Welcome to our website which will keep you informed of our exhibits, opening receptions, art talks, special events, and current news. The Bristol Art Museum, a non-profit 501 (c) (3) founded in 1963, continues to serve the Town of Bristol, Rhode Island, the East Bay community and beyond and in 2013 will celebrate its 50 Anniversary. Be sponsoring cultural programs through exhibits, gallery talks, and art events at the Museum and Rogers Free Library, we offer venues for artists to express their creativity and an opportunity for our members and visitors to appreciate the visual arts.

The year, 2012 will be an exciting one, while we complete our plans to renovate an 1860's historic barn on the site of linden Place. The barn will be converted into a fully functional year round museum which will be our first permanent home. The Museum will continue its legacy and mission to bring the visual arts to the communities we serve for all to "Be Inspired".

Sincerely,
Patricia A. Woods
