Theme:
"The creation of art has always been a form of sharing knowledge. The use of metaphor, allegory or concepts regarding paradox provide artists with a symbolic language. This language represents their understanding of experiences and the culture that they live in. Created with visual code, these images shape the structure of visual narratives and place emphasis on the stories that are familiar to us. The coded language provides visual expression to our collective experiences, which may be contradictory, ironic, or ambiguous."
