  • Eligible Artwork - The exhibition is curated and not themed. Only 2D or 3D works created on or with paper will be accepted. The works may have been created at any time or previously displayed anywhere, or they may be purposefully made for the exhibit.
  • Number of Pieces Submitted
    • Current Members can submit up to 4 pieces
    • Past Members can submit up to 2 pieces.
    • All submitted work must be available for delivery to BAM and must remain in the exhibition throughout its term. We intend to display all pieces but that may be a function of the totality of what is submitted by everyone. That is part of the reason for asking you to assign a rank order to your submissions which is discussed below.
      • Please enter the images that you are submitting in the order of preference that you have for them to be exhibited should there be a space limitation. (i.e. Image #1 is my first choice). If any trade-offs need to be made in displaying work in the gallery, the curator will interact with the artist and/or a representative of 19 on Paper to resolve the issues. If we utilize a virtual gallery in addition to the physical exhibition, it is not likely right now that we will be able to display any more than one piece.
  • Size and Weight - There is no minimum size for a submitted piece, its maximum is what can move easily through a standard doorway, and its weight must be able to be easily lifted and moved by an average person without needing any equipment.
    • Diptych, Triptych, or Array Works - Any diptych or triptych work or work with an array of elements must be able to be managed as a single piece conforming to the size and weight restrictions. If any installation beyond hanging the work or positioning it on a pedestal is needed, the artist must provide clear written instructions.
  • Content - The Museum does not practice censorship, however the Board reserves the right to decline to display a piece that may not have content appropriate for a public audience, or any other basis. This is a rare occurrence.

*Prior Permission for Deviations - Any deviation from the restrictions noted above requires a timely request for prior permission to submit the piece in question.

Please fill out the form below.
