Overview
Art inspired by the sea, the harbor, or the shifting edges where land meets water. Work inspired by seascapes, personal memories, or even metaphorical shorelines of life. This exhibit invited artists to create works related to the shoreline - literal or imagined.
From sweeping seascapes of Block Island to quiet details of a local dock, or even memories of summers at the beach. Artists responded to the natural environment, to human interaction with the coast, or to the emotional resonance of living by the sea.
This exhibition will be on view at Bristol Art Museum's community gallery at Rogers Free Library from April 21st - June 3rd, 2026
