Learn how to use your camera effectively in this basic photography class. This course is for students who have little or no experience using a digital camera (not an iPhone or phone camera). We will cover how the different camera functions work. Through lecture, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and weekly assignments, students in this course will learn to operate their cameras and develop fundamental skills in taking pictures. Topics covered include: iso, resolution/quality, aperture (depth of field), shutter speed (movement), shooting modes, and more. You will need to be able to load a jump drive of your images weekly. Please bring in your camera (no phone cameras) and instruction booklet to the first class. Four 2 1/2 hour classes.
