Visiting the Museum

Thank you for your interest in visiting the Bristol Art Museum. We look forward to welcoming you (back) to the Museum for our latest exhibit (re)location, which explores both the nuanced and complicated work by five artists who have expressed their understanding of relocation from experience—the willingness to explore new places, the personal encounters with people who are relocating, the virtual and imagined relocation through image, by making the personal choice to move, or by forcibly being uprooted and displaced.

We require that all teachers, students, volunteers, staff, and renters - vaccinated and unvaccinated - wear a mask while visiting the galleries. If you forget a mask, we’ll be more than happy to provide one!

We look forward to seeing you soon at The Bristol Art Museum.
  • BLM - The Board of Directors of the Bristol Art Museum mourn the senseless death of George Floyd and all the victims of racial injustice. The Board actively supports efforts to bridge racial disparities, to reject racism, and to work toward making Bristol a much more culturally rich and inclusive community through the arts. The Board believes art fosters learning, contemplation, and critical discourse; it recognizes positive change is achieved through active engagement with the town and residents. Change happens when communities work together to achieve common goals. Therefore, Bristol Art Museum is committed to developing exhibits and programs around equity, respect, and compassion. These are the organization's guiding principles and touchstones for moving forward.
